Not sure on this one. There always used to be a campsite just away from the main entrance on the opposite side of the road. Didn't notice any signs up for that at the ETCC meeting though. Think that one was a fiver last year.
At the ETCC meeting there was camping advertised just off the Dadford Road, quite a way past the circuit and I think that one was advertised at 15 quid for 2 days. It's a bit difficult to try to keep up with Silverstone at the moment with all the new tarmac that's going down. All around the entrance and Dadford Road is very very different to what it was last year. |

when i was there for the ETCC/FIA GT someone said that campsite near the main entrance will be closed while they are doing all the roadworks. If they are closed again, there should be space on the private campsite at Whittlebury Hall.

You either drive out of the circuit, back onto A43 and then into Whittlebury, or you walk from the Becketts area of the circuit. We ended up walking in that way at the 2000 British GP, think it took us just over half an hour to walk from the main road at Whittlebury into the circuit, mind you, we were slowed down with the mud.
