As I remember did the Lotus run in British GT under a 'local' homologation, similar to the Mosler did, and may not ever have been officially approved for FIA GT3? I certainly don't ever recall it appearing there apart from in the pre-season tests.
As I remember, the first season for the Lotus in British GT showed some potential, but an 'improved' version of the car the next year lived up to that old Lotus nickname (Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious), and the team (IIRC Paul Whight's Cadena) who were running it bought an Aston instead...
