So now that its contents have been listed here, no one needs to buy AA. And people wonder why trade publications struggle to survive.

Same thing happened a decade ago when within minutes of going online, now defunct online publication Motorsport News had its contents published here and while unlikely to have been the only reason, can't have helped in the decline in subscribers that led to its demise.

It’s nowhere near confirmation of ANYTHING.

It speaks of possiblys and maybes.

No better or worse than quoting Speedcafe or Supercar.

I paid for my copy of the periodical and didnt see anything in that list of stuff that wasnt already here, or elsewhere in the digital world.

That it is concentrated into one article, of around half a page in size, not quite at the front suggests the magazine's owners dont think ifs, buts and maybes will keep the lights on

Supercars' official site, and Speedcafe also have advertising banners, which would be a source of income for them.

AA has a reasonably poor online presence, with older articles there and sometimes not all of them either.

And you might be surprised who still reads here..

Should buy an AA. Lots of feature articles but still basically a Supercars mag. I quite enjoy it because I know racing is a many faceted sport. Still not enough domestic open wheelers though.

No suggestion that you obtained the copy in other way than the normal channels. While Motorsport News' demise was probably brought about by its lack of editorial content, distinctly recall that it was being summarised on this board within minutes of going online, so if you went here and then opened MN, you knew everything in it.

Speedcafe's income is derived from number of views each article receives, the clickbait model. So the more articles it can churn out, the more views, the more revenue. Hence it just loves those new livery pressers from teams with a new livery at each round.

Makes no sense why they'd do it.

Mr Munday has made significant investment in getting the team up and running again. There was chat at one stage of acquiring a second REC.

Didn’t Mr Munday sell his trading businesses?

Arguably it’s easier to lean on a cash generating business to fund what is ultimately an indulgence than post-payout from sale..

Being a Tickford arms-length customer is not likely to be a picnic either..
