David McManus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
on the horizon, will there be a ten-tenths get together at the British Grand Prix?
I will be arriving at the circut early (6ish, hopefully).
Just name the time and place, people!

If you pop on over to the Trackside forum there's already a topic there about the British GP. We need to arrange when and where we're all meeting up. I'll be there for all 3 days.

As I have only seen the F1 races on tape delay, except for those in our time zone, what time does the race start at Silverstone and what time should I expect to get there? What time will the cars go out for their recon laps?

KC I presume you're talking raceday, the key times are:

06:00 Gates open
08:30-09:00 F1 Warm UP
9:20 Porsche Super Cup
10:15-10:35 Drivers Parade Lap
11:40-11:55 F1 Acclimitisation Laps
13:00 Race

What time to arrive depends on the ticket, if you have seats doesn't matter. If standing depends where you plan to stand if it's a popular area ie. the stadium section que overnight, for Club I reckon you need to have your spot sorted by 06:30 based on previous years.

Less popular areas eg. Becketts you'll probably get a nice space upto 09:00.

Anyone else got verdicts about when to arrive to stake your place based on prior experience?
