Ultimately I am with Max on this one. His sentiment at the end of this video:

Yes, Max not exactly holding back either...2 weeks on i thought hed have cooled down a bit but clearly not.
Lewis said respect is there from his side, but not reciprocated from Max...guess the phone call went well then. |

This never would have happened if it had been the other way round. I suspect that since RB still have the advantage in both Championships atm, they're trying to solidify that advantage by trying to screw over their rivals (read Lewis and Merc) in every way they can possibly think of, hence why they're approaching the issue in what I perceive to be the most petty, pathetic manner imaginable and I sincerely hope all concerned who isn't RB will be open-minded enough to realise this and dismiss RB's claims and tell them to stop being such a bunch of overgrown crybabies! There, I said it, moving on...

So to the topic. This article says the appeal was to be reviewed earlier today?
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/r...clash/6637565/ If I am doing my calculations, this meeting should have started a few hours ago. When do we think the FIA will issue a ruling? In short. When will there be real news to comment on other than the back and forth, tit for tat comments in (and driven by) the media? Richard |

The stewards have rejected Red Bull’s request for them to review their decision on the collision between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in the British Grand Prix.

Appeal denied.
Cue 44 pages of why this is the wrong decision, the right decision, Grosjean's fault etc etc |

“The slides in Appendix 2 of the Competitor's letter that were relied upon as New Evidence were not "discovered" but created for the purposes of submissions to support the Petition for Review. And they were created based on evidence that was available to the Competitor at the time of the decision (namely the GPS data). That clearly does not satisfy the requirements of Article 14.”
That's a complete slapdown. |

Well that went entirely as expected. Red Bull manufactured "evidence" and got laughed out.
Hopefully now Horner will keep his trap shut and not venture near a microphone all weekend. Can we all just blame Maldonado, and move on now? |

RB reportedly used a filming day at Silverstone on 22 Jul to have Albon recreate Hamilton's first lap, presumably to "prove" that Hamilton could never have made the corner.
That's just nuts. What a monumental waste of everyone's time. |

The thing is, Max was never going to make the corner either. I know its tough as they touch just at the turn in point, but going by his trajectory he was always going to run wide over the kerbing, no doubt attempting to keep his position by flooring it over the run off, at least thats my read of it.
