Interesting no rounds in Mainland China. Perhaps AFOS are finally sick of the short sightedness, inefficiency and total lack of common sense of motorsport officials here, and the stupid amounts of money that SIC ask for to run events.

the reason I ingored Atlantic is I haven't heard anything about their plan.
about european team motoworld has said something about they would like to
make full season Pacific campigan this year, when they annouced final tango in 08.Not sure how they go now.

META4 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If it is comfirmed that each team will enter at leat 2 cars , then it is definitly a step up for motorsport in Asia. All the major teams in Asia , out of Japan are there , unless DTM.

I guess whatever Formula Renault in Asia has lost , either FRD Championship or FR2.0 , the formula BMW has gain it ...

There must be also the fact that the Formula BMW Pacific is now racing in Macau , which makes this championship even more attractive

BTW i read somewhere that Ollie Millroy could enter few races with Motaworld in 2009 in Asia

Any idea about race Calendar?

i agree meta4, the frenault colapse helped bmw in asia a lot. bmw gathered all the drivers and standard is very good for asia.maybe more non-funded drivers from europe can come asia next year.

monkyhead post calendar in first page. macau and singapore makes championship bigger than that was.they trapped in malasya f1 weekend and japan wtcc race towards end of the year and the two best afos weekends (malay and indonesia). very good too.
