The Ginetta's still haven't been out I have to say it's not looking good.

I'd love to see an onboard from the Porsche lap. I'm skeptical that it was legal. I wonder how wide the car was in Tertre Rouge and the Porsche curves.

There's a lot of drivers saying they're expecting rain tomorrow, so tonight is the best shot at pole. But the forecasts I've seen say dry. So who knows!

Well, the Am car has done a 3:50. So the 47 doesn't seem unrealistic in that case.

Agreed...that lap needs to be investigated. Bruni is shady driver as I recall he is the one tried to put Joey Hand of BMW out of the race in 2012 Sebring when he was 50 laps down to help his sister car try to win the race.

Has managed to find 3 seconds, after complaining they needed BoP help. So they happily held those 3 seconds back whilst requesting assistance.

Can't say I have much sympathy for BMW when it comes to BoP. They tried and failed to game it in VLN.

They're in the 1:55s at Sebring, same as the GT1s 10 years ago.

They didn't really whine to get help. That was Aston Martin. The motorsport article sounded more like if you're changing us, why are you giving us boost but giving us additional weight on top of it. By the times you're using, everyone has found 3 or more seconds

BMW have been asking for BoP help since pre-Daytona

The "why are you giving us boost and weight" is a little disingenuous by BMW. The whole point of adding boost and weight together is to give the car the same speed, but increase fuel usage and tyre wear marginally. They know that, and they weren't really asking that - they're just playing the BoP game, as they have been all year.

Obviously, it's a case of don't hate the player, hate the game, but let's not pretend BMW haven't been beating the assistance drum in the BoP marching band just because Aston are at the head of the parade.

Bruni ist 1.5s faster than the rest incl. the other Porsches.

The fastest Core Porsche is .5s faster than the BMW. They are new in LeMans like BMW. Perhaps its not the BoP , perhaps BMW has just to lern and improve like the other rookies.

Never considered that. MTEK haven't been here before. If they were as fast as teams like Manthey and AF Corse given they have no experience there, it'd be a bit silly. Well spotted!
