No budget = No drive. Busy working on sponsorship to get a ride in 2006 I heard.
Like most drivers, you have to pay for your drive, they don't pay you.

i felt he was unfairly dropped from the irl. i guess it was as much to do with his budget than his crashes though...

Considering his father's wealth it is suprrising that he hasnm't bought his way into something. I'm sure he'll be racing next year, but for now I think he's focusing on his family, having married last year.

I did a thread on him a few months ago in the IRL Forum, all the info you need will be in there.

I must admit I didn't even notice he'd gone.

To see him puffing away on fags, whilst his poor dad ploughed ever more money into his 'career' never exactly marked him out as a pro in my mind.

And what excuse has he got to be disheartened? he got a better shot at a motorsport career than at least 50 drivers with more talent I could think of.

Well he was a European Formula Ford champion, a multiple race winner in British Formula Ford and Formula 3, and an Infiniti Pro Series champion before graduating to the IRL and doing a solid job, especially qualifying 3rd for a race with Access after splitting with Panther.

Sounds 'Pro' in my mind.

A waste of talent, he could be racing in something, even if he stayed on the North American sene he could be doing sports cars.
