SpeedingTortoise should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
ive upgraded the track to international standards. Ive added a new infield loop, increased the run off at the new T18 and improved the grandstands.

track 4

my next track is probably the best one ive done, both in terms of layout and graphics. ive managed to make the track have elevation using sketchup however this took me several hours over several days so im not sure if i will do this more often (put it this way, the tracks ive already posted combined took less time than this) so tell me what you think i should do, quaility or quantity?

Full Circuit - 4.0mi Short Circuit - 2.4mi Forest Circuit 1.6mi
All circuits anticlockwise Elevation S/F-Forest S/F 90m S/F-T4 40m

I quite like your edit of that last one, and giving it more length to work with.

This latest one? Whoa, dude, the layout is spectacular! And the elevation changes look pretty darn good too. Those esse bends before the pits in the bottom right look awesome!

I love this one! Looks like a true classic venue, like Spa or Imola... At 4 miles, it's perfect. Couldn't find a problem with it even if I wanted to.

My favourote section is the top-left loop - fast turns that require precision.

Both thumbs up!

Wow that's quite a big place Sir!

Looks like a gazzillion dollar facility , is that in Arab Emirates by any chance?

Definitely your best track so far and I'm expecting more coming from you!

Excellent stuff! I like the elevation changes too!

It is what Bahrain should've been (looks like a desert environment)

Track 5 is great, really simple but you've managed to make it interesting.

Track 4 and 5 are simply mouthwathering.... I had some issues with the original track 3. I think it is great, exept for the part that has 3 hairpins connected by short straights. But you have solved that issue already in your update. Brilliant job!

Would anyone want me to put up a tutorial about how to add elevation in sketchup?

Getting the elevation is fairly straight forward the real trick is doing it in a way that you don't create layering issues for yourself.

In no way am I trying to dis your work, however in image 3 of the original post and also this first image above of the same corner, at the lower end of the corner where it rejoins the Horizontal there is appears to be a clear a layering issue, on the inside of the corner as there is colour "bleed" from the original "default" colour.

What you have done is very good don't get me wrong, I haven't rarely put in curved corners of that type as I struggle to get the layering correct.
