*Bump*
Arrived home from work tonight to find a letter containing four shiny WSR tickets for the Silverstone round in July Very fast response from Renault UK given that I only requested them on April 20th. |

I suppose in that case Comtec will re-sign Schlegelmilch to go with Marsoin?
Then again Marsoin has had funding problems and Schlegelmilch is in IFM, so who knows... |

New car, or are we launching... new wings and winglets in our current car which will spread costs again, nb. 08 'innovations'?

Good for Bianchi if he's up for one of the seats. Still, big ask to come into a new series, with a new team and at Monaco of all places though...

Well, I didn't see that one coming. If SG enter the series it looks like they've made some sort of deal with KTR to buy their cars, rather like when Fortec Motorsport bought Jenzer Motorsport's cars prior to the 2007 season.
It would be good to see a talented young driver like Jules Bianchi get a chance in the championship too. |

i believe teams don't own the cars in the world series so i'd imagine it's a pretty simple transaction.
there couldn't be a better choice than jules bianchi but i'm still not completely convinced if doing 2 completely wildly different series at once is a great idea for everyone. |

The teams do own their own cars in WSbR unlike GP2 If they want to sell them they have to first offer them back to Renault, if Renault doesn't want them or can't agree €€€€€€€€€ they are free to sell them...................albeit with Renaults authorization...... |

Max Chilton joins Comtec for the Monaco round, replacing the cash-strapped Alexandre Marsoin. So, if the proposed SG Formula team make it to Monaco and poach Anton Nebylitskiy, as has been mentioned, it would leave Comtec in a pretty tricky situation with regards to lining up a second driver alongside Max. |

oh really, i'd been under the impression they didn't, and because of that it made travelling through switzerland where they're paperwork obsessed on the way to circuits problematic. you learn a new thing every day.

Questions now are:
1. Will SG show? 2. Will Nebilitskiy go to SG? 3. Will Comtec sign a driver for the #16 car? There is a week and a half until we find out... |

Alex Marsoin will drive in F3 Euroseries for SG, maybe he's not that cash-strapped...

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/75298 It's now official: SG Formula will enter the World Series at the next round in Monaco. Jules Bianchi has been confirmed in one of the seats with Anton Nebylitskiy likely to join him, although Comtec Racing are digging their heels in over his transfer apparently. And with RC Motorsport having added a second car too, the series is back up to the full quota of 26 cars which is very welcome news indeed. |

http://www.auto-sport.ru/news/786/48830/ interesting Daniil Move interview.
He was asked why he choose to stay in WSR over moving to F2 for example. And his answer was that ... proposal from tech1 and p1 were for same money, that a season in F2 ! Also he thinks that WSR almost equal to Gp2, while F2 is formula master rival. And in WSR is all about racing engineer, and the one he tested with at tech1 is already working with Charles Pic, thats why he opted for P1. Also, from old interviews(about year ago) i can say that interwetten hated Move or something like that, he often used old machine details from Duran car as Daniil said. That time nobody (even at russian forum) believed him but now things changed a little bit. |
