If what was suggested earlier that the Castrol sponsorship at Kelly was less than required, as a personal sponsor it would make sense for Rick to remain a Castrol driver (for both him and Castrol), even if as a codriver at another team.

If so, Tickford could consolidate previous and new Castrol money to create a enough budget (to replace Supercheap money) to run a full Castrol livery as per Kelly racing.

As such, if extra funding can be found through a new sponsor to fund the Kelly Racing business/team, to move Rick on makes lots of business sense.

Sponsorship problems. Don't you just love em. Can't blame Rick, they help pay his bills. With Castrol not paying their dues, it's left him with a rock and a hard place. We'll have to see what Tickford does, he surely could do something with his money to help. ATM though, it looks like we might see Kelly continuing without Rick and Castrol, which is a shame, but hopefully both can continue to be competitive even going their seperate ways

I suspect she wont be replaced. As Sandgroper said this looks more like cost cutting and culling the headcount rather than replacing her.
