Is there an actual source to back up these alcohol claims? I'm by no means a fan of the man, but accusing someone of a drinking problem is a hefty claim.

I don´t say he has a alcoholproblem, but look at his Facebookaccount, he only posts pictures from him at ibiza in bars.

He is still one of the best when he has I good mood. I think he just missed bit of motivations in last period but he was able to finish 3rd in general wtcc standing 2007 with an old alfa 156 not at all developed from 2 years!

So they didn't get the full grid that Ribeiro boasted about. Good entry though but a bit disappointing not to have Comini there.

IMO that's unfair to Munnich. It's his money. Thanks to him a lot of drivers were able to race a competative touring car, GT and rallycross car. Munich is not the typical gentlemen driver who's only spending money if he's driving a car himself.

BTW I am sure Munnich let's Thompson in the car when he's a frontrunner in the championship.

25 or 26 does not make a difference, it's a good amount. And there will be also a few wildcard drivers in some rounds.

Fire, yes you're right but the grid is extremely competitive this season. He needs a really strong preparation with the car if he wants to be competitive. Anyway I give huge credit to him to let race good drivers and also champions as in the case of Huff

Well I have some doubts about Thompson. Maybe he's 'fresh' again but when he was in a car last time he seemed to be lack motivation. Would rather see Comini or Files.

Didn't see that coming. I thought Thommo's career is over. Wonder how he'll do.
25 cars or 26, it doesn't matter. It's actually better to have 25 cars rather than zillion belonging to gentlemen drivers causing Safety Car every second lap. And the quality of the field is really really high.
Absence of Comini may be disappointing but I think his personality (lack of professionalism if you like) was one of the factors.

Would love to know where the funding for these drives is coming from.

Muller's car looks awfully poor. Expected something more professional.

Are we sure that's not just an interim livery?

There isn't a lot of colour variety on this year's grid. Thank goodness for Tom Coronel!

The entry list is much better than I expected three months ago.

There's not a single German driver. TCR is too pedestrian for them, I guess. A pair of yellow Opels would be nice.

For the Alfa's that could very well be, for Yvan Muller Racing I expect some backing from Geely/Volvo.
