It took us some time, but we found enough bricks for four cars for the 2010 season!!!!

"We're excited" said an excited Darth Falcon at the team launch.

Already too late for the first round mate

2. Hiring & Firing

As Team Owner/Manager, you are permitted to sack any or all of your drivers in the lead-up to a round, and replace them - so long as you don’t blow the salary cap or 4-driver limit.

To sack/hire someone, post in the Driver Changes thread (ie. here) expressing your disappointment in your ex-employee(s), and your hopes for your new driver(s). You will only be charged a driver change if your team is different at the next round, so there is scope to change your mind if need be. The deadline for making changes is the start of first practise.

Blow Your Dough Racing announces that after a weekend of furious discussions we have secured major backing from the Federal Government Insulation Scheme.

We will be employing a team of backpackers to cover the cars in foil insulation before next weekend's round, having assembled a team and booked tickets and cargo space on the next 747 to Bahrain.

The transporter is being fully insulated inside and out with surplus stocks of cheap chines fibreglass batts.

!!!PRESS RELEASE!!!

1 round down and the axe has fallen at Brendon Engineering!
With 1 round of the 2010 championship done and dusted the axe has already fallen in the Brendon Engineering Garage with Fabian Coulthard and Dean Fiore shown the door infavour of experienced head Paul Dumbrell and young gun Jonathon Webb.

"It was a terrible start to the season, we expected better and thats why these changes have been put in place. "I thank Fabian and Dean for their contribution to the team and it's sad to see them go but that is motor racing, i wish them well in the future. " I am pleased to have Paul in the team he is experienced and will get the job done for us, on the other end of the scale it's good to have a young bloke join aswell in Jono and i'm sure he will learn alot off Murph, Paul and Bargs. "I really think we can improve now and get some good resaults and give this championship a shake."

The new recruits will join teammates Greg Murphy and Jason Bargwanna in round 2 of the championship in Bahrain this weekend.

New Driver Line-up:
#51 - Greg Murphy - $600,000 - VE Commodore
#55 - Paul Dumbrell - $600,000 - VE Commodore
#11 - Jason Bargwanna - $400,000 - VE Commodore
#19 - Jonathon Webb - $400,000 - VE Commodore

*****TEAM BLOW YOUR DOUGH*****

After a serious discussion involving lots of that stuff banned in the middle east, Tony d'Alberto has been found not to fit the profile of the team (ie: he wanted to be paid on time). Jonathan Webb has been drafted in as a replacement on the promise of a massive bonus should he repeat his form from last weekend.
