I see Team Noske has signed Reif Corbet up to run in the Kart series. He has been around a long time. I wonder if he will be bought up to pace to run in the Long Distance Races this year or in coming years or even in Konica next year.

I don't think they are getting AU. Mark said that the BA was close to being finished a few weeks ago

The way I heard it, there were 2 mechanics from Team Noske working at 00 for some time now, to prepare the 2002 #27 ex-Crompton car, and that this indeed was the vehicle to be run at Adelaide....

There is also a spare BA shell caged and painted at 00 as well, unnecessary now the 2nd franchise slot is with Nash, so perhaps this is the shell the #27 car will be built into?

We will be running Neil Cromptons #27 AU at Adelaide and Phillip Island.

The BA will be debuted at Eastern Creek with a second new BA online mid July.

And Pete your correct the team has signed Reif Corbett to compete in this years Ford Kart Stars series, the aim is for Reif to win the series this year and then run him in Formula Ford in 2004.

He will get a few miles in the V8Supercar this year, however that will be restricted to bedding brakes/diffs to get a basic feel of the car.

Ok, thanks Mark. I think he will go well. I'm sure he has driven a Formula Ford before.

Jeez, this GTR dumbnut seems to be right more often than not. Must make the teams awful embarassed that he/she/it knows more than they seem prepared to share

Pics of the car/transporter will be in this weekends autoaction.

This is not the final livery as there is still some colour to be added to the car for this weekend.

Looking Forward to that Mark, but by the time I get AA here in the Bush the Adelaide Event will be over and I'll have already seen the cars on Sundays Telecast. (Missing Saturdays as working all day and half the night on the State Election- Bloody Politicians - its race weekend for god sake).

I've just recently joined this forum. It's good to see one of the V8 drivers actually chatting with the punters, and that the punters aren't asking stupid questions.

You'd never see this in Usenet (news:aus.sport.motor), unfortunately.

They only tell if people drag the thoughts outof them, or confirm what is public knowledge]

Its no great thing really

And top 10 in a car described at different times in 2002 as virtually undriveable???
