I'm thinking about it. Two dear flagging friends who were planning on attending couldn't make it for different reasons, one of them seeing a 20+ run come to a cruel end so hoping we can all hook up together for one more shot!

Yes, please.

Hopefully the Ferrari win doesn't bring too many fairweather fans and displace the regulars again.

Should be an even stronger field, for which we should be grateful for.

Definitely going.

This year was amazing - yes busy and some ACO oddness but as always great to catch up with fellow Tententhers - even though I've been a bit quiet recently and a few of our 'own' Le Mans family Some making a return after a few years away.

This year's trip seemed to go by in a flash though - might see if I can extend it..

It was mid October last year for tickets and grandstands. Then over a month later it was camping. Will be interesting to see if they adopt the same split strategy again.

Bearing in mind the massive criticism from fans at the split ticketing, which ultimately left some people with entry tickets/grandstand seats but nowhere to camp or park, you'd like to hope that they will abandon the two-stage process next year. I'm assuming that we're now stuck with the loss of camping and parking areas. It's going to be a case of getting in super quick as people will be wise to what they need to do after this year's (last year's) shenanigans.

BSJ wasn't a bad place to be overall, it was well maintained and there was a cafe and bar. Trouble is, it all folded at 5pm on Sundsy, so those who were staying until Monday am needed to be sure they had food and drink for the evening.

I'm minded to get my entry and stand tickets from the ACO but go back to a package for the camping etc. I still think Porsche Curves, although expensive, is a good place to stay, the bar and cafe stays open until later on the Sunday, you have a great view of the track and thus it's better to spend the final two/three hours watching from there, thus missing the Scramble for the last buses before 4pm.

Interestingly, I decided to try and went to the Karting entrance on Friday having only the weekend ticket - I was let in without a problem.

Just seen a social media post saying there are now 30,000 ACO members. Interesting info for context.

Expecting it to be even more difficult to certain types of tickets for next year's race.
