pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kristensen in line for Bentley seat.

Rinaldo Cappello now Tom kristensen has tested the EXP8 with view of a drive in 2003. All these drivers linked must mean something more than just LM and Sebring!? The european round of the ALMS (if it appears) could tempt them perhaps?

Yes, say that in Autosport last week. I'm slightly sad, as I'd really like to see the driving strength all-British. There are enough good British drivers out there quite capable of perfoming as well as Kristensen and Capello at Le Mans and elsewhere.

I would second that.

What about quite potential Finnish duo Lehto - Salo, who still seems to be on free market?

I'd take Lehto in my team any day. The guy is a genius behind the wheel. Despite their respective F1 pedigrees, I'd place Lehto way above Salo in terms of skill. I remember watching them both in British FF2000 and F3 a few years back. Never saw anyone drift a FF2000 like Lehto at Thruxton!

Personally I think they go for - Herbert,Blundell and Brundle in 1 car and Wallace,Smith and McNish in another with a 3 car for Letho, Kristensen and Cappillo.

with 3 cars that is pretty easy! I like your choice, although I would prefer Leitzinger to McNish.

Actually I would love to see Ortelli in one of them...

and maybe... oh this three car team thing is still hard!

Anyway my two car works team would be:

Brundle, Wallace, Smith
Letho, Kristensen and Capello

Ortelli/Lehto/Brundle should get the car to the finish first.
However, Babini/Maassen/Davies or Burt or Franchitti M. would stand a chance in a Bentley... It'll never happen though

At the moment it seems everybody is talking with Bentley about a seat, apparently David Brabham is interested in a seat as well.

They can definatly be assured of a top team for next years race

Irvine? You're kidding me? He had his day in 1993.

Anyone who leaves out Andy Wallace is making a serious mistake IMO. Much as I'm a fan of Herbert, I'd take Andy before him and before Brundle for that matter. Wallace has a far better Le Mans "pedigree" than Brundle.
