I know those are wets but these cars look so much better on treaded tyres. Lincoln if you are watching, it looks good my friend.

Ted do you remember when you found those bits at Church Farm? My 7 year old son came and got me out of the garden "Dad, there is a guy on the phone, says his name is Derek Bell" -yer right! He assured me the bits were his to sell, and as I was not aware of the fall out with TW I wasn't quite sure what he was on about. But then we chatted about his recent wins, very easy going, what a gentleman to talk for so long to a fan.

Andrew. I went down there straight away and recovered some wheels ,spare tacho, but was too late for the photos etc that had been burnt the previous week. I was a bit shocked when I told Tom Wheatcroft that I owned his old BT30 to be told by him, that in fact "he did" but after he had a good laugh about it.

Chassis #11, John Watson, 1970 & 1971, was it THAT colour when new? That's taking being Irish a bit to far.

Ted, a tractor, -#*%@!, explains a lot, I thought it was my driving.

There's a typo in this one Andrew. It was Tommy Reid who advertised it (as "BT30-8") 18 Nov 1971 p59, not Bobby Howlings.

Think that tree should have a commemorative plaque.

1973 and 3 weeks after Howlings advertises ex Alan Rollinson Bogata BT30 on the back page A/S, this that I hadn’t noticed before;

1973 A/S Jan 25th p.48 BT30 Alan Rollinson’s Bogata BT30, Adrian Bethall, Sheffield 686171

Just to add to the confusion - that's more or less what I have for #6 (the Rollinson Bogota car)

Yes Ian Giles I guess, I received the email. I've never put an advert on ebay however I put an advert on an american site about 4/5 years ago advertising #12 when it was apart having work done on it. I guess it was this ad that Ian found, but no idea how, it was removed ages ago.

He might have found the ad via a search engine. Sometimes an old ebay advert could be kept in the cache of a search engine for some months. Four years takes some explaining though!

Bt30-10

A small addition to Andrew's super list - Simon Riley used BT30-10 at Great Auclum in Aug 1973 (pushes the ownership back slightly).
