Armstrong dampers

Does anyone have a UK contact (other than Leda - who no longer have the parts) for rebuilding Armstrong dampers for an historic formula ford - help appreciated!

Try Vintage and Classic Shock Absorbers in South Croyden. They seem to do most things!

Or maybe Reiger Racing Suspension in the Netherlands, they make all kinds of shock absorbers

Armstrongs shock parts available in Calif.

We have reproduced a number of Armstrong shock parts for rebuilding the Knob and screwdriver adjustable shocks. Either the rubber mount or Spherical joint style. We also convert the swaged rolled top to a unit that can be rebuilt. Shafts, seals, inner tubes, pistons and rubber mount and spherical joint parts. Rebuilding available. Shock dyno testing coming soon, later in 2009. Wayne Mitchell, CMW Enterprises,Inc wtmitchell@att.net

With the permission of the Historic Mods, I'll move this to technology.

Might also suggest you contact AVO who are very helpful and may be able to produce a pattern for you.

The thread is 5 years old! And the original poster hasn't visited in over a year. I would hope he got his shocks sorted by now
