Thanks Sean. Yes, I should be at Brands. Your car looked good the new 'go faster' colours! See you both next week.

Johnny boy! how are you mate?
We were very happy with the car until it all went pear shaped. Missed having a dice with you out there! I am testing next friday at Brands. Are you down there? I would be good to catch up. The car looks pukka by the way. It was remarkable to see the turn around happen so quickly. Hope to speak to you soon mate. |

Seeing the thread on the Marshalls Forum regarding BTCC not being allowed to use the GP loop, is next weekends race still on the GP circuit or has it been changed to the Indy circuit ?

If they are not on the MST site, then I don't know where else you would find them. I have hard copy - do you want to know a specific car's position, or the whole results ?

Steve, I havn't checked the EERC web site the last couple of days but it would be extremely handy for EVERYONE to have the results of the races on the website possibly that evening or latest the next day. The "Rally of Kent" website manages to get their results on their website litteraly hours after the event so a "top web site" like the EERC should be able to manage it??? Whoever looks after the site might like to keep it up to date as possible-after all, a result is what everyone races for!

Baz, I have no control or influence over the website, that is taken care of by JT and JV.
Posting the results on raceday evening is impossible, since James and John would be travelling back from the venue. |

Ok Steve, fair point, but I have just checked a week later and there is still no mention of the race at all from Silverstone...if its done by mst then I can always check that site but it would handy to go straight to the web site as some of us who cant get to every round would like to know the full results before the next round happens...James, any thoughts?
Snappingly, Baz |

Strange thing is that the timing was by MST and the event is listed on their site, but the results are not there...
But you are right, if there could be a practice and race results section on the EERC website (even if it is just a PDF scan of the result sheet) it would save us all searching for the results (and not finding any). |

There is a full, detailed report of the Britcar race on dailysportscar.com, but that is a subscription site. I have also sent reports to Pistonheads (nothing on there yet) and Track and Race Car magazine (possibly in the May issue).
In light of the "public demand", it is obviously something we should consider, but it's all down to resources, time, and facilities, all of which are extremely tight. Time I got a lap top, I think. |

How about sending a copy of your report to the EERC webmaster for inclusion on the web site? That is ultimately where we would look first to read a report/results of the race meeting. Thanks

you should have tried holding a camera with a huge telephoto lens on and not get any blured shots-definately harder than those easy tasks of working in the pitlane or marshaling that day!!!

Brands this Saturday - the full EERC programme (see www.eerc.co.uk for timetable and entry) on the glorious GP circuit.
Will the Rouses triumph again ? Can GTS and Topcats take the fight to them ? Will the Waterworth Clio embarrass more powerful opposition? McInerneys for class 3 win ? Robey or the Hammersleys in class 4? Will Andy Allen make a pit stop ? Will Anthony Reid impress in the MG Judd ? Will I ever shut up ? Find out on Saturday - hope to see you there. |
