Had exactly the same thing...

Went straight back on to to their site and it was there in stock albeit for a slightly higher price of £32.50. Delivered it already.

In 2015 I decided to collect the yearbooks (english) from the years I visited. Only exception I wanted are '94 '95 '96 because the Honda NSX participated. Last year the collection was complete except for the '94 english version. Hadn't seen one single one for sale. It was only until tonight I found out it is only in French. It is so great to have this forum thanks Tenhts, now all I have to do is find myself a descent priced '94 french version. Wish I would have bought the one I found at the track last year for only £50 what a bargain that was.

EVRO Le Mans 24 Hours History

This is a monumental necropost, but if there is anyone left here that still likes buying papery things, then you may find this interesting.

EVRO is promising to continue Quentin Spurring's Official History of the Le Mans 24 Hours series into the 21st century. 2022 will see the release of the volume covering 2000-2009 and 2010-2019 will be released the following year. I was told by Mark Hughes from EVRO that Quentin Spurring was not involved in these volumes - he didn't say who was though. I think this is a brilliant multi-volume series with far better actual race coverage than the single year volumes. Really looking forward to seeing these modern era editions released.

Thanks, Lorenzo. I like what I’m seeing with these volumes.

This was posted earlier today on another forum

I understand that the author is approaching halfway on the first volume, slower than Taki Inoue in a Nissan GT-R LM, but there you go.

Really glad to see there is some love for these books.

I just hope that Quentin Spurring's replacement has his same story telling flair and the world wide paper shortage doesn't push either publication back another year or prices even higher.
