It was the route he close to follow and he had pretty much a full season's testing the previous year.

He has been very fast in qualifying this year but, except at the very last race, had a problem getting the car off the line.

As for Macau, I doubt he will feature, but he could get a good result if he settles for a reliability run and stays out of trouble.

I asked Kei Cozzolino via his website, he said he will make a comeback to Macau GP this year.

Italiaracing announce Stefano Coletti and Daniel Zampieri for Prema

I think Cozzolino could do well at Macau , he performed well last year and Toda-Racing has also a good performance in 1998, last time they visited Macau

I asked Imperatori via e-mail today, and he said he will make debut in Macau F3 this year.

Let's wait and see what he can acheive.

He has competed in a few British F3 events with Raikonnen Robertson this season.

Renger van der Zande will be racing for Räikönnen Robertson Racing in Macau, which makes him a very strong prospect in my view.

The Carlin quartet will be Ricciardo, Chilton and Arundel from BF3 and Hartley from the F3ES, as mentioned above.

If it's any consolation, I've known for a while, but thought I'd better not say anything until it was official.

Definitely a great match up although I am sticking with Ericsson for now.

Add Ricciardo, Bianchi, Van Der Zande and co to this and Macau is looking like its going to be another fantastic battle.

Maye off topic or covered already but is there any TV coverage in the UK for Macau?

MotorTV often has live coverage on Macau GP, keep an eye on it.

The entry list is getting more interesting now: 3 champions of F3 Championships will be on the same race!

Wayne Boyd also plans to enter this event but it is being kept quiet as to which car he will be in.

The provisional entry list is expected to come out tomorrow or Tuesday, so I adjust my prediction today (Confirmed are in italics) :

Tom's : Ericsson/Iguchi
ART GP: Bianchi/Tambay/Bottas
Manor: Merhi/Sims/Bird
KCMG: Imperatori
Singature-Plus: Maki/Vanthoor
Hitech : Grubmuller
Raikkonen: Nakajima/Kevin Chen/Van der Zande
Carlin: Ricciardo/Chilton/Hartley/Arundel
Prema: Coletti/Zampieri
Toda: Cozzolino

and some possible entries:

Adderly Fong
James Winslow
Christian Vietoris
Cesar Ramos
Kimiya Sato
Esteban Gutierrez
Jon Lancaster
Wayne Boyd
Yuji Kunimoto
Jean-Eric Vergne

I think the frontrunners of F3 championships will flock to the event.

I very much doubt it will be with T-Sport, because they don't normally go, but I bet the car will have a VW engine.

last year MotorsTV showed F3+Bikes+GT on delay on Sunday (timed to tie in with Eurosport's replay of the WTCC races).

Maybe, except they have Mercedes engines.

However, no team really wants to go to Macau with a single car entry, so I suppose it's possible.

The provisional entry list is out , and many are unexpected:

Van Dam in Hitech
Mortara in Singature-Plus
Yuji Kunimoto in Now Motorsport
Sam Bird in ART GP
Rosenzwig, McKenzie and Garcia in Fortec

Keep an eye on the list.

ART will have a good line up if just 2 of these 4 sign up Bianchi/Tambay/Bottas/Bird. I can definitely see Bianchi going.

Van Dam may be a good outsider because iirc he was a front rower last year? Van Dam/Grubmuller and Boyd at HiTech imo.

If it happens, Bird vs Bianchi at ART should be a very interesting battle!

I'd expect Bianchi to have the better of Bird, I think he's a superior driver.

Yea me too. I think he'd win it had Tom's not been so powerful last year.
