kerb should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
track 76 is a small club circuit that is also very basic. This clockwise course contains 11 corners, only 1 of which is not a 90 degree corner. scale is 1cm=20m, giving the front straight a length of 600m(30cm) and a track length of 2.18km(109cm)

This month I am going to release 2 karting tracks. The first one is track 78. track 78 an undulating anti clockwise course. course heads downhill after T2 down towards T5. track runs uphill towards T6 before dropping down between 6&7, before climbing back to original height before the last corner. scale is 1cm=8m, giving the front straight of a length of 208m (26cm) and a track length of 720m (90cm).

I said I'd do 2 karting tracks this month and here is the second one. Track 79 is more of a complex than a track, with 4 smaller tracks combining to 1 mega circuit (by karting standards anyway).

Green track is for beginners and is the shortest of the 4 courses at 420m

Blue is the next level up and more of a speed course and is the second longest at 825m.

yellow course is more twisty than blue and is the next level up, despite being shorter, measuring at 735m

red is the longest of the 4, measuring at 1035m in length.

then we combine the 4 circuits to create the black course, or the endurance course. measuring at 3.375km, this course is designed for top level series and for endurance races (like 24h).

I'll admit to not being pleased with the pit lane placements on the yellow and red courses but would like some feedback on this complex.

So I missed a month, but we're back on track with track 80, a 1.5 mile oval with a 16 turn road course. oval banking is 3 degrees at T1, 1 degree at T2 and 4 degrees at T3. I'll admit to struggling with scaling on rovals so I cant really give a length of the road course.

I presume it's running counter clockwise?

Your asymmetrical oval is giving me a distinct Mickyard vibe which I like, due to the many racing lines possible.

its time for Track 81

Track 81 is a 4.35km clockwise circuit with 15 corners. T1-2 is a medium speed right-left chicane leading into a long but fast T3. T4-5 is a tight chicane leading onto the longest straight on the track, at 750m before the braking zone at T6 and the end of sector 1. T7 is a double apex right hander with a short straight leading into the fast T8-9 and 10 and the end of sector 2. T11 is a long, off camber left hander leading onto another long run to the tight T13. T14-15 is sorta similar to the last corners in Singapore.

Things as angular as those 2 tracks on top of the page will only work well if they are street tracks, with bumps and kerbs.

so, I missed another month. So, I'll be doing 2 today.

Track 82 is a track that I actually reversed when I designed it in the small scale. It is a clockwise circuit with 15 corners for its main layout. there is an alternate chicane for T11 that while slower than the sweeper is still pretty quick.

scale is 1cm=30m, giving the front straight a length of 630m (21cm). the back straight is 810m (27cm), same as the straight between T3 and T5. The final chicane of T13-14-15 has 60m between and each of the turns.

So, the second track I said I'd release 2 days ago is track 83.

Track 83 is a 3km track with 10 turns based in a forest, with the trees providing a natural sound barrier. it would also make the track seem faster than it is as cars whip between the trees, which form a natural tunnel between T5 and T7.

I've been kinda running out of time/motivation to design new tracks, but I've still got a lot of completed tracks on backlog. so ill keep going with that.

Track 84 is an anti-clockwise course with 18 turns, ranging from the fast T1, the medium speed second sector to the very slow T18. scale is 1cm=40m, giving the front straight a length of 880m (22cm).

Track 85 is a roval that isn't an oval. the speedway has 4 corners with the road course adding 12more corners.... and a bus stop for good measure. Course is anticlockwise.

As I've stated before I'm terrible at scaling an oval, so I'll just say I'm aiming for a 2-mile oval.

lengths for the straights on paper are 14cm for the front straight, 17cm between T1-2, 16cm on the back straight and 18cm for the final straight.
