cavvy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
legendary muscle in WA

West Aus fans of real muscle be aware the ZL-1 Camaro of Bob Jane is heading your way, not sure where but arrives Perth Friday 19th. This car was recently released in 1:18 scale which is fabulous but pales when compared to car itself, a superb resto - this car is in 1971 spec, i.e the 427. They changed the rules, so it was refettled with a 350 fitted for 1972 - it won again, they changed the rules again, so it was changed to comply with the new rules, beat Moffat in his Ph3 at Calder & was subsequently disqualified as there were not 25 similar models in Australia (mechanically legal) - Moffats first title resulted, should have been Bob Janes 5th.
First time for the car in WA since 1972.

Update courtesy of Camaroz: the car will only be on public display for one day, this Saturday - Bob Jane will be there for the opening of a new T Mart at Clarkson.
Miles Johnson who restored the car is also going to be there.

All You WA race car fans get out to Clakson and let Bob (and Myles) know that the Camaro should be seen more around the country, not holed up in the Bathurst Museum!
