Suzuka 2002 - dullest race in a long time...

Just thought i'd share my feelings with the online world, that was possibly the worst race this year in my view.

Not much else to say except it was boring.

Couldn't agree more...

Still, it's nice to see Taku score 2 points though.

But the dullest race has to be from the one i would have least suspected it... Spa-Francorchamps which, normally, is the most exciting GP right next to the Monaco GP.

Thank god i didn't pay 330 Euro's to go see it

What, there was a Formula 1 race today, must've missed it behind Bathurst and MotoGP

Dullest race since the last one, you man?

Having spent the entire day watching the Petit Le Mans sports car race, I decided to go to bed early and skip this snore fest. The best thing about the 2002 season is that it is now over.

indeed

I'm a F1 fanatic for about 12 seasons now (since 1991), and this is the very first race I saw which had not a single overtaking manoeuvre. Even the Spanish GP a few years ago (2000 I think) had one, but Suzuka 2002 had none.

It's a very sad day for motorsport.

It's time to go for Bernie. He's done enough to professionalize the sport, but we've gone too far. It's only business that matters.
Moreover, I'm fed up with his dictatorial way of life.

This was the worst F1 year I witnessed. Hope it will be better next year. But I'll always remain a F1 fanatic!

WHAT!? Look guys, it's obvious that you don't take any pleasure in watching F1. Keep in mind that nobody pays you to watch, neither is this your obligation nor your birth-right. Why don't you focus in having fun while you still watch it, or, if you don't manage to find it interesting, try not to spoil the other guys fun. Sheese. Easy cure for you boys, use the remote control and switch on another channel.

Agreed, if the guys don't like it, don't watch it and especially, don't moan about it.

I've been an F1 fan for many a year now and cannot remember a season as boring as this. Because, you see, at least when teams/drivers dominated before (such as Nigel in 1992) at least there was plenty of action going on behind. Today, there was nothing.

So I watched the MotoGP instead.

Some of the best bike action of the year today from Sepang. The wide track leads to some breaktaking racing, with the riders able to take a thousand different lines. Like usual the 125s provided the most action, but the MotoGP boys also provided some thrills and spills.

And you missed THAT for this procession. Egad people...

Yes, I skipped it, not missed; I find motorwhatever completely uninteresting. What intrigues me is why do you find necessary to come in a F1 forum to deliver all this nonsense?

I still very much enjoy F1 and didn't regret getting up this morning. There may not have been that much overtaking but that's not the be all and end all.

But you're right Red, i didn't have any pleasure in watching this years F1 races (maybe except monaco), the only thing that kept me watching was a little bit of hope that an exciting race was about to happen... Yes i am so d*mn naive!

Personally I think the only reason why that race APPERED dull was due to the fact that we have grown used to better. Atch, hang on....
