Every time Merc come along with fancy hats to celebrate a historic milestone, their 70th Anniversary GP Merc cap, they seem to pull up short.

I have to think any suggestion by the Merc pit wall to tell Bottas he is not allowed to race LH are made only to make Bottas feel better about Bottas.

He was never close to bringing the fight to his team mate.

In fairness, Bottas needs to get much closer to get into Rosberg territory imo.

He couldnt even get it under 1s and not for the first time this season.

I just wonder if he has been allowed to? He had to give up second place to Lewis in the 2018 Russian GP, which Lewis won.
