Springs - The Good The Bad and The Ugly

On the advice of someone that knows more about these things than I do, I did a little experimenting with springs and have now found what I think works pretty well on my car. The springs I used were not expensive (also not very very cheap) but the same person has advised me to get good springs once I've found the rates I was happy with. I'm told good springs will be more consistent and probably better value in the long run..

My question: What good springs would people suggest? Eibach? Hyperco? Something else? Its for Formula Vee so I don't want to be paying F1 prices... just something that is worth spending more than cheap or inconsistent springs!

Thanks as always.

Any brand witha hi silicon steel is probably going to be OK for you... just like the ones you mentioned

BTW when they are brand new they are usually the same, it is the fatigue resistance where they make a difference

I'd say that even when new they are not the same - intallation length, rate etc. Go with Hyperco or Eibach (as you mentioned) - for about the same price as others you get quality product.

Cheers
