Usually a well supported meeting. Final instructions include timetable-

http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.u...Snetterton.pdf

Hope to pop over Saturday to see the Morgans, weather permitting I may arrive in one! (Although Saturday forecast doesn't look promising...)

Word of warning (maybe) for any competitors leaving Sunday late pm to travel south. The A11 was congested second half of Easter Monday at the '5 Ways' roundabout, with 2 lane queue several miles up to the War Memorial. If this Sunday marks the end of school holidays (think it does for many) then could be similar situation as 'weekenders' and holidaymakers head home. On the other hand, may be fine!

I shall be there, Swinging 60s, green Triumph Vitesse, Saturday race. First outing for two years, fingers crossed!

Thanks for the traffic warning; it'll be a six hour drive to Snett for me. Race 4 not till 1540 so was planning to stay over, get a rest and come home Sunday, so will set off early.

You could say that.

Last I heard there were something like 340 cars entered across all races and classes meaning very y full, grids everywhere.

And of course, many of those entries will have 2 drivers so a very full paddock.

Excellent! Milk and no sugar, please....

Latest forecast suggests coldish wet start to Saturday, but should stop raining during afternoon, and dry Sunday.

Well, the weather forecasters were spot on for yesterday- unfortunately! Despite the wet and need to remove many 'beached' cars from JP's waterlogged grass after almost every track session, the programme ran almost exactly on time. Well done RC, marshals and all the rescue teams.

Managed to catch up with some tenthers, which was nice, and equipped with wellies plus complete waterproofs managed to stay dry!

Although cold this morning should be dry and sunny later, so good luck to everyone racing today.

I couldn't help but sing 'What a difference a day makes' to myself yesterday. (Don't worry- not out loud )

OK, people were scraping ice off first thing, but what a superb and contrasting day's weather!

So how was the racing, folks? Hope no one complained about the sun being in their eyes.....

It doesn't look like sunglasses weather to me. Or is that what Mike's laughing at?

I'm assuming the other person is Cliff Ryan.

Yes, that is indeed young Mr Ryan. He tells me Ray-bans or equivalent are compulsory in US historic racing....

I was actually laughing beacause bauble has a knack of not being anywhere to be seen, then suddenly is there pointing a camera in your direction.....

Mike, you are SO photogenic, the camera loves you, I have never seen a bad picture of you.
I suspect that there is some North African blood in there somewhere - Ethiopian? Persian? How else to account for that aquiline countenance and rugged good looks.

Now Cliff .......................!
