Forda should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

No link though?

How much was Roland spending per year, prior to him mysteriously slashing costs this year?

Up until this year, they've had the best cars for yonks.
The fact they no longer do is due to whatever is currently up with 888.

Link, or what interview? What was his response that "basically confirmed it without doing so"?

There is no doubt there are a bunch of guys who would leap up the field just like Lee & Will did this year if they were in Mustangs. Plenty of guys better than those two and the equal of Cam & Fabian. SVG and Jamie would belt all 4 of them in an equal car.
In your opinion, yet those same Commodore's were filling those positions last year.

Erebus can regularly go toe toe or beat 888 on a poofteenth of the 888 budget. The rest of the ZB runners get smacked week in week out by those 2. I doubt a Mustang would move those guys up.

The plot thickens, Crompton and Kelly resign from Supercars commission and Burgess changing aero without approval of the board.

The board's approval isn't part of the process. The board delegated to a technical committee:

However, multiple paddock sources have also told this website that the adjustments to the Holdens were not approved by the Supercars Commission per se, but by the championship’s technical department acting on behalf of the Commission and in accordance with series regulations.

I reckon if he was up for it, a pragmatist like Ross Stone would be awesome for a Commission position..

So is the recent parity adjustment actually one of the reasons Kelly and Crompo resigned. Or are Speedcafe assuming, based on who they are and the timing?

Well the Kelly family has their fingers in a lot of pies so dare say the resignation is to get something off Mr. T. Kelly's plate. Same with Crompton with his media commitments and wanting to spend more time with family

What are Crompton's media commitments (outside of Supercars TV commentary)?

His business AirTime media runs the Toyota 86 series, and provides the vision & media package to both off road racing & the ARC...

CAMS' time as a promotor to F4 has shown they have not got what it takes.

Point being this will probably be the line used by Crompton whether its the reason or not. He'll tow whatever company line is applicable. If its not you'll have to wait for the book...............in about 15-20 years if the series lasts that long and by then, no-one will care.
Todds decision may be more in line by the Instagram Rick released last week about changes to the Commodores.

Did the motor racing fraternity really give them a fair go with that?

They'd do alright,
