Assume no postponement until final payments are made!
This week due
Interesting times
Is it going to be in September or delayed a year or scrubbed to 2022
Early September is out as if things do work PA will be involved in Tour Auto
Think they will agree for us to enter a Talbot in Tour Auto
Got nothing else to do!
Two in competition and one in regularity!
To dream!

It’s no problem
They allowed us to use Talbots in Tour Espania a few years ago
Interesting when Talbot passed 911 in the competition section so not uncompetitive in Grid3 and add a bit difference.
Has another in regularity and they are quick enough for that and quicker than most.

I do remember two Blowers on the Bugatti, we had a Dolomites Pichon Parat, so no match at all! Very impressive, very fast, appreciated by all, competitors and public.
Our gov' says the schools might be re-opened first week of may.

Two of them, very quick and good drivers. The race I'm talking about was a first of, supposed to be regularity organized by FFVE/FFSA. Fédération des Véhicules d'Epoque. FFSA as you know is our MSUK.

Five overall wins for those cars, Le Mans likes trucks! Probably very impressive too were the Alfa 8C, '31, '32, '33 and 1934 winners.

Before you, the last man referring to his race car as a truck was an old bloke, Dominique "Bardini". It was about his Grp4 Daytona, fifth overall in '74 with Cyril Grandet.

Your determination is enjoyable. Because you know all the good competitors what would be your virtual podium taken from today's entry list? Talbot, Alta to start and then: Alfa? Bentley? Aston? Lagonda?

Don’t think the Alta would be there
It’s only 1100 cc!
Talbot Largo, Talbot ,Talbot

That would be my take with quickest lap 5 50. ?

Phew, 5'50 with the chicanes and this kind of brakes isn't slow… What was the best in 2010?

Fastest lap in the noughties was 5 51 by 2 litre Alta
Talbots do 5 50 to 6 for past ten years depending on wind direction.
Makes lots of difference at Le Mans
If we were allowed a 2 litre Alta would expect 5 43
To compare a properly driven 356 would do 5 25.
The Talbot 105’s are doing about 135 going into Indianapolis.
Not bad ,drivers very little imagination with no deformable structure or seat bets
Speed differential on straight about 75 mph
The 105’s lapped Brooklands at 130 before war!!

Impressive, really! Brave drivers we have here. Because we must stay at home, we have many discussions via emails or phone and some about speed differential. Many using small capacities engines are worried to say the least… I guess a Panhard engined car can do 180 kph at best not mentioning the little 4 CV Renault, in plateau 2.

I remember that 100 mph on the straights was good going at Classis Le Mans with a 1,5 litre Aston Martin

And that was enough to pass Mercedes SSKs and even Blower Bentleys, at least in the rain. Ahhh, rain, the great equaliser !
