Aye, look forward to finding the combined qualy results for the field, the Lambo looks like it's in a great position, with two PA cars in from of it. Really impressed by Andrew Palmer in what I guess is his first time at Monza. From what I could tell, the new Audi seems very fast too, but either not 100% over a lap or sandbagging a bit.
Are you still going to be awake when the race rolls around Scudd? |

I wish the Blancpain site had a countdown timer to race start so we could accurately tell when the race is to begin like the WEC site had last year. Most handy.
Great to see two green Ferraris lock out the front row and Fabio Babini do well in the new Lambo. Kudos also to Liam Talbot who out his Kessel Ferrari on Am Cup pole and 34th outright in his first race at Monza. |

Starting drivers for all those Ferraris could be interesting; presumably they will be putting an 'am' in, so the performance of them all is going to be very random, with all the Pro cars behind them.

Wow, fantastic.
Edit: spoke too soon, although SC shouldn't have been needed. Great for everyone to get through the first chicane though. Is it a new SC procedure? |

What an epic sight to see that massive pack of cars heading into the first chicane. Brilliant stuff.
Not so brilliant for the Jaguar  . More problems, why don't they switch to the F Type??

No kidding, for that many drivers of mixed ability in a random order, getting through the first chicane is a great achievement.
Some great racing through the pack and so many great drivers. Plowman, Engels and Bonanomi here is stunning. Lamborghini looking really well placed for the win here. Surprised at how unpredictable the pace of the McLarens is; wouldn't expect the Attempto car to be ahead of the Von Ryan ones. |

Then #333 Pro Am Wow, huge shunt at parabolica with ProAm Attempto Racing McLaren collecting the #84 Bentley. Looked like something broke but might have been a braking error. Hope the marshals are OK, they seem to be. So who left their pro drivers to the end....? |
