Just heard a little rumor that the two drivers that hate each other more than anyone in FFord (Barber & Heylen) have agreed to work together to beat England because they cannot beat him alone.

All will become clear when you watch the race from Knockhill as Heylen was trying to take England out by hitting him up the rear in both races.

What happened to Van Diemen being fare and square in winning the championship ? Looks like there scraping the barrel again just like in the festival in 2000 when they were using illegal fuel !!!

Barber has had a bit of a crisis of confidence. He thought he was unbeatable at the start of the year, and as the hype grew he started to believe it.

But when he went to Mondello and didn't win, it all started to fall apart for him.

I don't believe that Heylen and Barber are imposing any sort of team orders to stop England from winning - Heylen certainly didn't look like he was trying to help Barber into the lead.

What is happening is that the championship is closing up, albeit only between the top three. Nevertheless the final three races will be very exciting.

why would Heylen help Barber? he gets nothing out of it, especially since he hates him (apparently).

I think its good that Barber is getting a hard time now ....earlier on in the season , everyone was saying Formula Ford was boring this year , as Barber was in cruise control , but now its a different story isnt it .

I think it's nice to see a mixture of colours at the fron of the pack instead of a procession of yellow and blue. Even having Rays mixing it at the front has been good.

FF has been more interesting recently than FR which has always only been worth watching for the big pile ups.

On FormulaWorld.com in the news section I saw the press release of Barber... in that press release he is talking about team tactics... don't know what those tactics were though

the only reason they are working together is that barber has got scared that he may infact loose the championship to england. so what does he do?
well if he works with yan in qualifying then they both get good qualifying results which makes it easier for westley because all he will do is sit there and let yan win, well this sounds good to yan if westley is going to let him past but what he dosent understand is that he is being helped by westley but westley is also helping himself.
