Glaswegian members would I'm sure agree.

Yeah, but these are FANTASY circuits. Some of them would be geographically impossible!

6: El Prat de Llobregat Airport, Barcelona, Spain

As I promised, this is the first airport track in my series. It is on the runways of El Prat de Llobregat Airport in Barcelona, Spain. It IS long, but I tried to use up as much of the airport as I could! http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=540442

I'm sure you'd have a lot more fun doing this if you clicked on the 'satellite' option rather than used the map. In the Barcelona airport example, you get an utterly different view of the lie of the land.

Which is what I have done on my edits of real tracks, and I will start up another thread shortly, and post them.

#7: Gatwick Airport

We now have a BRITISH airport track at Gatwick Airport. I have viewed it in satellite mode, and it looks great. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=540456
As always, comments and edits are welcome.

Cool, with JFK, perhaps have some faster corners, for example just before the third mile marker.

I have a comment on JFK. As I have been told before, racing at international airports, such as JFK would be impossible. JFK is one of the busiest airports in the world, shutting it down for three days would be insane. New York's other airports wouldn't be able to handle the extra traffic, as they are also busy. As I was told, try to find smaller airports, such as those that dont use the word "International."

9: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

Yes, here is another airport track. Please take note that these are fantasy tracks, and if they were to be used, they would only be used if the airport was shut down permanently. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=540498

I can tell you right now, those last two tracks could be a problem. Imagine the speeds the cars would get after going flat out for a mile and a half. You better have a lot of runoff for the first corner for anyone who misses the braking point. Also, I would also consider a few temporary chicanes along the straight to help slow the cars down. I can picture in my head someone trying to pull off a pass into Turn 1 on both off those tracks, and locking up his brakes and plowing into someone at at least 150 mph, causing quite a mess.

I'd suggest shortening it a bit: it's a very long track.

What about this?

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=573046

Straights not too long, room for run-off, and I stuck a few combinations in there instead of just up and down straights all the time

Okay, I admit it. San Francisco International was rubbish, so that's why there were no comments. Race 12 is at Liverpool John Lennon Airport in Liverpool (as the name suggests!). http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=542164
Please feel free to edit the track, and comments are welcome.

Thanks. I put the chicane in before the start/finish line to keep speeds in check, and for overtaking purposes.
