In a real answer to the first question, Graham Carroll won both Post89 races, with Barrable, Grady, Bradshaw, Benson and Rigby making the top 6 the closest its been all year. Caroll won the Star of Anglesey series.
In Pre90, Lee Hannam won the first race from Thompson and Crosbie after Crosbie was docked a place for knocking Nigel out of the lead up at Rocket. Nigel Thompson winning the second with Lee 2nd and Parkington 3rd. Thompson won the Star of Anglesey championship for the second year running. Lee heads the Pre90 points with Crosbie level in 2nd place, Nigel in 3rd two points behind Lee and Doug with Bob Wyke 1 point behind Nigel. All with two races to go!!! Stu Jones was saying after the race he isn't to race in the NW again this year because of the driving standards, and the cost of the damage to his car. |

James, you shouldn't have announced what Stu said incase it was said at the heat of the moment and has decided to change his mind or wants to announce it himself, also think before you post anything because your comments could cause trouble and not for the first time either i may add.............

well looking at the times I think it should be changed back to the original format of post and pre 87.
An 89 or 88 is just as competative as a 90+ car. |

As many have said so far, this maybe a heat of the moment comment, or he had already that it over before the race. Id guess we'll all know what his decision is before qualifying at Oulton next weekend, wether he turns up or not.
Its a shame Stu may possibly do what he has talked about. At the start of the season, we had 8 entrants that could have won a race. Im pretty sure no other championship anywhere can beat that. It was a shame to lose Franky after round 2, and then Bailey after Cadwell from the front running pack, and to possabily lose Stu is reet shame. The UCLan guys do a great job, and Stu can provenly drive quickly and entertainingly around Oulton, and really adds to the quality of the race. He's a fave with marshals and regular spectators, so his absence will really be known. Damaged cars after collisions, bills to pay, many of us have been there and some sacrifices have to be made. Stu will make the choice, and I for one will be gutted if he isn't out. |

Still at least Matt is better than me. I probably won't get my Club F3 report finished until tomorrow, never mind on that site. |
