Now this has gotten me very excited.
A BMW V12 LMR will be running in the Enduro Legends demonstration sessions according to PA Instagram. |

So far, 83 cars on the 60s Endurance grid, then 8 reserves and 8 on the waiting list! Guess what, it’s LMC next year again. Amazing how it brings cars out of the woodwork....
The HTC grid (54 cars so far) includes McLaren Boss Zak Brown in a Cologne Capri and a 1985 BMW M5 ‘Superproduction’ car, which is a new one on me. EDIT- One of these... https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/l...duction/380777 59 entered for CER1, no Howmet or Gulf 917 though, and for young will, the EL and GpC entry lists.... Nearly 100 cars then. WOW. Something about this event that always nakes it bigger than other ones. Always seems to attract unique cars such as the the 917 Can Am that raced last year. |

Do you have the CER1 list? I’m going to attend this for the first time as I’m conveniently in the south of France at the same time...
Thanks Quote:

In France over the years you had Grp 1, then slightly modified cars became Production around '80 then came Superproduction. The last years of Production could be compared to your BTCC '82, Superproduction between your BTCC and Mod Sports. Roughly… Marc Sourd was a vey inspired pro driver.

What a grid that is
2 917s 2 512s 2 Alfas Along with Group c and everything else. If I would have gone I dont think I could have coped . Maybe next April maybe. And then Le Mans Classic which I am already counting down till. When will 1st entries be out anyway for that one. Usually March April i think? |

Mike is right, again, the Sixties race is caught by dark after one hour. Same for Qually I guess. The new pits entry should be in use and one fuel pump has been added, total becoming 5 if I'm correct. Enough to think about a strategy, drive with a full tank or not? That is the question!

Gang will be there with Elva before expanding their number of cars in CER next year.
What happening with the 2 litre nine eleven race series. Understand regs are being changed and FIA are changing the parameters on which HTPs given. A 901 is slower than a later 65 car? In process of buying one but getting cold feet with all these rumours. |

Bit of a long shot .
Does anyone going have space in a trailer to pick up a car in the area & bring back to the UK . There will be a few £ hundred in it . That could save me driving all of the way down & back with a trailer . Last time I went all of the way to S of France & back with the trailer in just over 1 day . [ I do push things to hard sometimes ] . |

Just looking at Legends grid. Will be interesting to see if the Peugeot laps the whole field. Everything else is older GT cars . Love to know the top speeds it will reach on the Mistral.
Will be looking at time with interest. |

Looking at Final entry list .
CER 1 has 2 512, 3 917s along with 2 Alfas Interesting to see that this event gets better grids than Spa.Nearly as good quality wise as Le Mans Classic. Very very envious . Probably the third biggest historic event behind Spa 6 Hrs and Silverstone Classic but best in Quality. Something about Paul Ricard |

Two things- the event is in S of France, and a high proportion of PA customers are French.
Second, as mentioned before, it’s LMC next year and a lot of owners will be hoping for an entry to that. One way is to make sure you’re on PA’s radar..... |

Fully agreed about the connection between the last events of 2019 and LMC. As to the majority of customers being French just imagine removing all the foreign entries during one year of races…*The paddock would be clear I guess…
Talking about paddock, prepare yourself to a moment, the place is gonna be busy like no other! May be you'll find more space because at 3 PM today, Jean Marc and his E Type was still waiting at the shuttle and a well known 'Vette is still waiting for its engine! |

Mike if you like to meet someone looking unsafe, just shake Jean Marc's hand! Story: during Tour Auto he wrecked his E Type hitting a wall at Charade, in the wet. During the race, the engine was already badly damaged, head, pistons…
His nice car is just rebuilt with the kind of invoices you can imagine. No time for shake down. At now the rain… again! |
