Hello.

So I saw that Conor Daly has recently been shaking down and testing the all new Dallara IL-15 Indy Lights Chassis. Several photos and videos have surfaced of his activities on twitter and vine.

I must say, this new IL chassis looks absolutely stunning!

Nice. Sort of CART era with a bit of DP01 thrown in. Now why couldn't the DW 12 have looked like that?

So we have many interested teams for the 2015 Indy Lights season:

1. Rahal Letterman Lanigan
2. Foyt
3. Carlin
4. Euro International
5. 8Star Motorsport

And the current teams Belardi, Moore, Andretti, Sam Schmidt, Herta and Fan Force United of course...

I think Indy Lights racing is more boring nowadays than it was 5+ years ago, where there were 20+ cars in the field for most races. But in the modern era, some races contain as little as 9 or 10 cars at a time. If this is the case according to Formulahistory, where there are many teams stating interest, then the Indy Lights series will become more exciting again

The 2014 grid is a talented one. With guys like Scott Hargrove coming up through the Road to Indy programme, and there being chances for high class European rejects (Luiz Razia, Jack Harvey and Alex Baron are following a well-trodden path) to move over Stateside to try and get a career there, the new car just adds to the things good about Indy Lights.

Although most races now are over after about 20 seconds.
