The sun never really sets at that time of the year in northern Sweden. It's pretty much daylight while the clock is still 10 p.m., for example. I'm from a town further 200 km north from Skellefteå, and it's pretty much daylight even at midnight in June. It's wonderful!

For a Scandinavian series, this calendar is utter rubbish.... only races in Sweden...
If they want to only race in Sweden, fine, but then rename the series.
Because it isn't a Scandinavian series as is.
The previous seasons has been okay, with Finland and Norway. But by their third year, they should have a minimum of 3 races outside Sweden.
The current calendar simply isn't Scandinavian enough...

There is nothing "Scandinavian" about the series anyway. Swedish organisers, teams, drivers and audience for the most part. All in all it's a Swedish championship with some odd race outside of Sweden.

Exactly, so why do they keep the name?
Why not admit they dont want to be a Scandinavian series but a Swedish one....

I don't know, it annoys me. I guess having Scandinavian in the name gives the public an understanding that it involves multiple countries, giving some weight to the series.

Whatever the reason for not changing the name, the name is still misleading.

STCC it's ambiguous so it's okay. They just have to remove TCR Scandinavia
