Oracle should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Is there always this little to talk about before a WEC round? I know the last few seasons would drop off in terms of traffic around here post-Le Mans, but this is surely the lowest post count a WEC thread has accumulated less than 2 days before a race start?

For those attending, I hope it isn't the same story at the circuit!

AF Corse Ferrari's don't look good here. Way down in the speed traps as well.

Well, there wasn't a thread made until I put this one up late last night (my time). Once qualifying and the race come along there should be more posts, I think.

No wonder considering the state of P1.

One year I ordered late and had to pick up the tickets in a porta cabin just outside the gates near abbey. It might be worth a ring to make sure they’ll have your tickets there.

Just seen a note on the Silverstone website about increased security, extra searches and also a limit to the size of bag that is allowed in.

Does this also apply to camera bags?

I would be grateful if someone who is going today could give me a 'heads up' as to how this is being policed and how stringent they are on bag sizes - max 20l being suggested. Knowing how much junk my good lady stuffs into her handbag, we could well have an issue tomorrow!

There was no bag searches at the entrance I came in (opposite the Wing) but they may be keener tomorrow.

Yeah done that before but it said on my order they would be in post.

There’s no active phone number for the ticket office on weekends.

Thanks for your help, and enjoy the day!

Ah. Pants. If I remember rightly that year I was told it would be sent to me at booking, but didn't arrive. I did buy on something like the Tuesday before. Although they had a telephone number then! Progress.

I suppose worst case is you have to buy on gate, but I fancy your chances of sending the others back and/or saying they didn't come and getting your money back. Surely they would see they haven't been used.

Good luck.

They were at the gate thanks for advice! Very strange.

I’ve not done the ELMS day before, anyone know if gridwalk is open to public?

That's unexpected. Must be an intentional one-off freebie.
