Break away. Be done with it. Please. Just stop whinging
I've gone past the point of caring. I'm just going to sit back, reach for the popcorn, and hope they all screw themselves over and it collapses into a steaming pile of poo. It'll serve them all right. Hopefully at some point someone will realise we matter |

Luca blames everyone but Ferrari when Ferrari have poor form.
Nothing new here. |

Isn't it funny that McLaren, Ferrari & Renault are suddenly off the pace. Well if you take into account that they were amongst the 3 teams developing their 2008 cars right until the end of the season then no, not really. What did they really expect. They can only truthfully blame themselves...but that's not Luca's way really...

It's such BS. He's playing both ends toward the middle. If FIA prevails, well...he's unconditionally entered. If FOTA prevails, "we were with you all the time", he'll say. Notice he didn't demand that Max change his entry to 'conditional'. He didn't announce the formation of a factory backed endurance racing team. So transparent.
Until the FOTA can get past their vanity and self-interest, the Twin Trolls will eat them alive. |

But didn't Ross offer an amendment to the rules regarding the diffuser which the other members rejected which would have ruled out any such mis-interpretation?

I don't know, what was it all about and what does it change anything now ? Brawn did a good job and his team deserves to be where it is now, period.

Luca is definitely pushing his own (Ferrari's) agenda. He does sound arrogant when he suggests the other teams will make the sport more like F3. However, in the end I feel that Max is the problem.
His iron fist way of dictatorship is finally being challenged and in the end only fans will suffer. Sponsors are fearful of getting involved in the sport now because of the amateurish way that disputes are being "resolved" at the moment. I like what is said in this article. The way the sport is being run is very corrupt and its time for a new face or new faces at the forefront. |

He can't predict when it will end...
He doesn't know which way it will go.... He wants the FIA 'reformed' (his way?).... and will not stop whining till he gets his own way? Yes maybe Ferrari should 'breakway'..... |

Well I suppose if any team can stand up and do open battle with the FIA it would have to be Ferrari as they feel that there place in F1 has been awarded from above..

I agree; Ferrari have the "power" and the ability to pull other teams into a breakaway series. It may happen; this has been on the brew for years, and I think it will happen |

Just a thought....
If LM has signed contracts stipulating Ferrari's participation in F1, why can't he compete in a breakaway series as well ? He complies w the letter of the contract AND supports the new series. Win - win. |

Not too sure that the other 'breakaway' teams would be happy about that!

If they are clever, they'll use it to their advantage - it will be very much a reserve team and the PR people will go to great lengths to let everyone know that the FOTA series is the best and gets the best drivers/equipment whereas the F1 series gets a bunch of test drivers and old equipment (and still probably beats Williams and Force India). Looks like we might see Luca Badoer in F1 again. |
