Would someone explain the Epsilon Euskadi for me?

I'm new to racing and want to know..is this a team or an actual race? I'm from the states so everything I seem to find out about it is in Spanish. Thanks!

Epsilon Euskadi is a race team in the Renault World Series, Eurocup Megane Trophy and Formula Renault Eurocup.

Well, apparently it's a Renault series in Europe - but that's all I know about it and there is a site www..epsiloneuskadi.com but it's in Spanish so I can't gather much information. I just wanted some background on who races, what kind of cars race, is it a forerunner to Formula One, things like that. Thanks!

Euskadi = Basque for "Basque". Epsilon is the Greek letter e but presumably just used to give the team an ID. Epsilon Euskadi run cars in the Formula Renault World Series, so a sort of Formula 2.5. It's not a racing formula but a racing team.

Epsilon by Graff??? I knew that Graff used to be a French F3 team, now is in the French F. Renault.

Epsilon is the greek letter for "Y".

Euskadi is the Basque word for... Basque. They are an extreemly proud people living on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean near the French and Spanish border. They have a unique language and a proud heritage. Their flag resembles a little to the Union Jack except the colors are green red and white.They run against the bulls in Pamplona. Miguel Indurain is a very famous Basque.

Graff is a French team owned by Michel... Lecompte. "Le compte" is French for "The count" (aristocratic title). What is Graff??? Graff is also German for ... Count. Monsieur Lecompte wanted to be original: instead of naming his team after himself, he named it after the "German version of himself"...

Mr. Lecompte and his Basque partners split after a while. Now we have Graff and Epsillon going their own way...

The team Epsillon Euskadi is probably managed by Joan Villadelpratt, a very competent ex-Formula 1 chief mechanic who worked for Ferrari and Benetton.

Some of this information may not be exactly precise but this should give you an idea.

No - that's upsilon, the Greek letter "u", which resembles a Y in upper case. Epsilon is a later Greek name for the short "e" sound ("e psilon" = "narrow e").
