He also has a very, very busy schedule of FR2000 testing in November/December. Money is not an object apparently.

Calvin struggled through the start up pains of Petronas Mofaz this year but his talent and skill have now been rewarded with deserved results. I think he's Europe-bound next year.

Calvin lots more talented than people think! What will happen Macau? Crazy Formula BMW race there last year! Lets hope they are more careful on 1st lap...

Lots of drivers coming and going, no Kyvat and Sainz at Japan. Are they back for Macau? Dylan Young as well? everytime Young is not racing with Motaworld Birch goes to Atlantic?? and the russian for Meritus? Any news on 2011 season? If that calendar is confirmed will be expensive again next season..Mygale laughing also

Bet ya all - qualifying will be the trick of the day! New pavement too!
Let's see turn Lisboa - can't wait - will miss the start as I will be there with my tow truck unless some goof cannot negotiate the slight turn and bangs his wheels "again" to cause mayhem 7 seconds after the 2009 start. Hope he has more brain this time and is not on a suicidal mission again.

Can this be all a beginning of a fantastic series for Asia or do teams and organizers fu...this one up the same way as all other series here? Seems sometimes that this may be the greatest goodbye event!

2011 Calendar - how come sunny boy Bradley has one and then publishes it? If it was a secret...hmmm...not for the public to see....jez...there must be a reason to leak this. But the other teams can and will wait til the organizer gives his blessing. Stupid teams to go along with it but good marketing ploy for one team. Congrat's!

Hey Mr. Ecclestone Jr - give us some good news - Christmas is coming soon - again!

Jim Ka To qualified 4.6 sec slower than Bradley despite being the only driver to have done FBMW Macau in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Jim went from 12th to 6th after Bradley took out Tunjo. The debris from the crash broke Calvin Wong's wheel, causing him to spin out of the race. In the ensuing traffic jam Jim went up to 6th...

Bradley has not won since declaring (after Okayama Race 1) that he was now free to go after race wins since he had sewn up the championship. Strange how things work out sometimes...

In Okayama race 2 Bradley just wasn't fast enough and then in Macau I think a win was definetly possible until he made the mistake which he admitted to when he hit Tunjo at the start.

You can take nothing away from him though he has been in a class of his own all year...

Bradley is the deserved champion because he did the best job all year but by the end of the year he was a little off the ultimate pace. His closest challengers were Tunjo and Wong. Tunjo is very young and he made a few mistakes because of his lack of experience. Wong was in a brand new team this year which took until Singapore to settle down.

slider48 - i think credit should also be given to Jordan Oon who finished 3rd. up till singapore round he still was in with chance to beat Bradley and if you check speed traps figures he seemded to have a slower car. he almost took 2nd position off tunjo in macau even though qaulify in 15th and as they say in racing - to finish first, first you have to finish - he was the most consistent point scorer driver in field only not scoring point in 2 races.

bradley make errors. jim ka to dont. results are online. and whatever the hell I want you to see you can compare. you cant do well in macao its causs you are not good enough. think formula bmw pacific driver are below europe level and other years level this year. oon pass ka to causs he hit ka to rear. nor a fairplay driver ths guy. i would trigger a black flag. race director and bmw protect malaysia teams always.

LP oon only trying to help ka to to go faster cos ka to was so slow he feel sorry for him so try to push him along but he realise that even with his help no use ka to to slow so just have to overtake and put 10secs in 3 laps on him at finish. ka to shld thks to oon for trying to help him go higher for macau driver firstly by pushing him and then by overtaking and trying to give him slipstream but ka to cannot keep up so nothing else he can do to help.

Credit goes out to the drivers whom stayed on the track @ Macau. Not the easiest track and one of the world's difficult one. It was encouraging to see drivers overtaking where they should and racing each other when the opportunity arise. I hope next year's Formula Pacific will be better. Thank you all for your wisdom & shared knowledge. This forum certainly made a difference.

hahahaha, well said.

Most drivers who started after P10 moved up due to the first lap accident involving most of the drivers who started inside the top 10. hence why oon and ka to finished so high up. But credit to them for staying on the track.
Also, there was a rumor that lots of drivers had to stop at the top of hill, and many used this as a opportunity to pass. no action taken.

All in all, a great season of racing, and well done to bradley, tunyo and oon for being top 3. hopefully next year will be even better.

It isn't a rumour. It was clearly shown on tv. When Calvin Wong's car spun out, it ended up blocking the left hand side of the track (from the driver's point of view). At that time the order behind him was already a little jumbled up, depending on who benefitted from the Lisboa crash.

The drivers immediately behind Calvin (from what I could see - Nabil, Mun Shien, Ryan and Padayachee) came to a sudden stop on the left hand "lane". The slower drivers managed to stop further behind and they immediately filtered through on the right hand side. This ultimately had a huge effect on the final classification. But it happened instantly, before any yellow or safety car signs were displayed, so there was nothing wrong with what the drivers did. Just a little racing luck.

Having said that there were still many laps of racing left, so those who eventually finished well deserved their points. Well done.

Hopefully Formula Pacific 2011 will be just as competitive, varied and exciting.

That is racing and that's why it is so interesting. It is not easy for the drivers and certainly not easy for team personel too. But when a driver does well, it certainly gives the entire team a boost of confidence & bucket-full of motivation for the next race & season. Meritus & Eurasia are already testing in Sepang this weekend. Look out for a young chap named Ron Tan. He'll be a stunner next season provided he matures beautifully.
