I made a jig and make my own but they're in pairs with laser cut flnges, the tapered tubes are the hard bit, especially if they're not straight
maniflow do something long those lines for the A series . . .worth a call perhaps, or any decent ex manifold fabricator |

You could try Prospeed Motorsport - they are making an inlet manifold for me at the moment.

If it's a normal round hole, even if if tapered then any decent fabricator could make it.
If it is a hideously complicated round hole tapered to an oval hole like on mine, after 9 months of searching and £250 wasted on a complete pile of junk, I managed to find an ex-F1 engineering company to make one. The runners were made on a 5 axis CNC mill. And it was hideously expensive. But I could always get my money back selling cast copies! Let me know if you need their details. |

I also had the joy my jenvey's were on a slightly different centres to my ports so I had to compensate and angle the tubes and then machine flat once I welded them up, I spose in hind sight individual TBs rather than twins might of been a better way to go.....You live and learn |

Mine is worse.
The 'oval' is so short and wide that is significantly overlaps the circle. And they both have the same surface area (hence all the cobblers on the 4AGE engine about the later head being better, people just understand what happens to a gas in a reverse taper followed by a normal taper when they fit too small a throttle body). So you end up 'tapering' in all directions. I spent about 9 months of - Can you make some inlet manifold runners? Yes, no problem. They go from circle to a flattened oval. Of course, piece of cake. Here is the CAD drawings. ........Oh.......Sorry........Ha Ha Ha, that will cost you a fortune, good luck finding someone. Eventually I ended with an F1 engineering company that had just lost their contract and had a bunch of 5 axis (or better) mills lying around don't nothing. The normal manifold for the engine has offsets all over the place and unequal runner lengths and volumes. Still not totally sure if it was worth the effort and expense though, should know in a couple of weeks. |
