For remaining entries slot,British F3 National Class winner ,HK's Adderly Fong has intend his willing to GT cup earlier this year too,and he has raced in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia for meeting requirement of the race (at least one FIA International Series' Race this year). Most probably he will drive Gallardo(either proper GT3 or one-make series car) ,but we can't rule out he will back to F3.
2011 Participant Hitotsuyama Racing team have switched their campaign from Super Taikyu to SGT this year. And final invitation race JAF GP is on same day of Macau GP.Therefore they are unlikely to comeback even though they made one GT Asia Appearance with former WTCC driver Y Taniguchi in Fuji.Same case as 2011 5th finished ,current GT300 point leader Tomonobu Fuiji. GT Asia Round 2 winner,Hamaguchi from Japan possible enter the race with F458 prepared by Clearwater racing too |

Many people will look forward to this race after seeing how they crashed last year. You don't get to see a Lamborghini and a Porsche crash on live TV very often.

Slightly off topic question. But with all theese gulf liveries see: united autosports, gulf racing uk, gulf racing middle east, aston martin racing, young driver and a few more i think.
Are gulf themselves paying to sponsor all theese cars or do the teams have drivers or owners with links to gulf that is brining the sponsorship?? |

Different pots of Gulf money (Gulf Racing is Gulf Middle East money, Oak has Gulf France I believe, the UA cars are Gulf Marine which is big in Asia iirc). Mostly people in control of those Gulf divisions are the ones bringing the money to the teams.

European late wake up call as usual. This race is been successfully for years.
It's important to be careful about what you tell others because sometimes your words can come back to haunt you. It can happen to anybody. Even me. But this time I'll put my money on Lucas Di Grassi. |

Hi there.
I am wondering why Craft Eurasia's new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is not on the list... Tomonobu Fujii (he drove last year's Macau GT and this year's MMER for Craft Eurasia) recently wrote in his blog that he had an offer to drive Vantage in Macau, but couldn't take it as he has Super GT on the same weekend. So that, I thought the team would find another driver... Also, does enyone know what is going on with Arrows Racing's newly purchased Camaro GT3? In this summer, they said they woukd enter the new car to MMER & Macau after winning one of Malaysian Super Series events... It also makes me sad that Marchy Lee is missing. He had a good contribution to Audi in both series of GT Asia and R8 LMS Cup China. So that, I thought meybe he would drive Mr. P. Ma's R8 LMS Ultra on loan basis or something similar treatment by Absolute Racing... |

Frank Yu is the owner of Craft Eurasia's new Aston Martin Vantage GT3. The team can't rent the car as simple as that. Yu seems happy with his Ford GT.
Arrows Racing's newly purchased Camaro GT3? Plausible deniability. The Camaro GT3 was borrowed by Reiter in the Summer with the hope of selling it any blind Asian driver. Arrows Racing has no money, no administration, let alone a GT3 car. |

Wow I never knew they used an underground carpark as a garage for the GTs and local touring cars for the Macau races. I see they refuel in such a confined space, seems as though safety standards are different everywhere. Great mix of cars. |
