Off Season (06/07) Car Juggling

Well, the end of season Arthur Daley session should be kicking off about now.

The first noteable car to go up for sale is a bit of a surprise, The Goodyear Pilbeam MP62/82. Well it's a suprise to me becuase I thought Mark had some good results out of it, and was happy with it. Are Mark&Annie looking to progress into >2000cc Racing?

That car has been, notionally, for sale for most of the season - do they know what they are going to do ?
This should be an interesting thread for the coming months discussing who is going to drive what car etc.

I was talking about this last night. The current thinking is that they want to stay in class, but be sure they stay competitive at a national level. The 1600 to 2000cc racing class is has some real depth of talent around, so it makes sense that they're looking at options for ensuring they stay in the hunt.

I'll bet they'll be sad to see that car go though, they've really made the step up nicely to a tough class.

Oh, Oh, Oh....

I think I've just found the most desirable car in speed hillclimb up for sale. Can anybody sub me £45000? 0-60 in 2.24 secs? Excuse me while I go dribble like a child...

Does that mean we'll have to start calling him VroomVroom? Not that I'll mind not having my ears bleeding or choking on two stroke oil fumes

What's the chassis & lump?

Wasn't Ying-Ying one of those Giant Pandas that were sent to America?

I'll leave Vroom-Vroom to break the news as I don't want to let any cats out of bags!

It is amazing what tit-bits you pick up round the paddocks!

Hi,

VroomVroom (YingYing's 4 stroke Alter Ego ?) Has brought John Watt's Jedi 4/04 with it's Suzuki GSXR 1000 K3. VroomVroom will be driving it this weekend at Prescott !
Undecided what to do next year ! Full British Sprint with some of the better Hills, or all the Leaders with some of the best British Sprint ? YingYing could still reappear at certain Hills like Shelsley !

Later.

30 seconds still calling, then. I want to see you break that barrier after getting soooo close. Arrangements are in place for when you do.

Welcome aboard the forum.

Yup, nice to have you around vroom-vroom

This of course begs the question, what's John Watt replacing the Jedi with?

A boat

John has replaced the Jedi with a boat and retirement from the sport because it will not sail up Shelsley as easily as the Jedi!

Nice bloke, sad to see him go.
