Yes, I remember being in the garden at the time and one of my brothers calling me in telling me what happened

That was a classic Spa race, although thankfully everyone got out the other side. Still Damon getting Jordan’s first win was the best thing that happened that day

Schumacher did put himself at the mercy of DC though. Especially considering how big his lead was at the time and the fact Hakkinen was already out of the race

I do believe it was an error of judgement from DC as he said, but Schumacher was relying a lot on DC not to.
