AMOC (BRSCC) Meeting @ Mallory

Noticed @ todays Javelin Track Day that the AMOC meeting run by BRSCC & the Friday Test Day for it are now longer on the calendar for the Bank Holiday weekend, being replaced by No Limits Bike Track Days.

We were due to take three cars but called off yesterday afternoon
Understand all AMOC races are off until end of season
Anyone got any alternative ideas where we can give Pre Wars a run?

I think that there have been big tensions within AMOC between the racers and the polishers for a long time. The link up with BRSCC was meant to mitigate that but hasn’t seemingly worked. I am not sure that AMOC will be running race series in the future and the owners who want to race will disperse amongst other clubs such as HSCC, CSCC, Masters etc.

Big difference in the financial risk/ subsidy for / from the club for a sprint compared to a race series or meeting.
