That's why I thought Renault were testing on the 5th!!! After my performance on the Snetterton test I should stay quiet, but won't.

1) Courtney
2) Taylor
3) Antinucci

It was all unofficial gossip but:-
Taylor 1 30.3
Bremmer 1 30.4
Antinucci 1 30.7
Carlin Boys very close to 30.7 as well
after throwing tyres at the problem, 5-6
sets each so they say!

Testing times tend to be just that TESTING TIMES be they either official or un-official. You can't read to much into them as any kind of indication as to form.

Hmmm it looked (from the exceptionally dark Sutton photos that I saw) that Manor were using last year's car and Van Der Merwe was out in the new one. Doesnt seem right though.

1 it will be very cold.
2 probably it will be wet for part of the day.
3 there will be lots of red flags, mainly caused by slow scholarship class drivers.
4 someone who nobody has considired will be quick.

Following my friend Takuma:

5 A couple of people who have been considered, but scoffed at may be even quicker

6 A couple of the quick guys may not even go for an outright time, but choose to learn something about the new car.

All the drivers were out in new cars at Oulton, but some may not be fully leaded up

Ah! Someone else that doesn't understand the purposed of testing - Got a dictionary to hand my friend.

To re-enforce what Takuma & Sid said - Don't expect much from any test session.

They only time you may see Race or Qualifying pace is during the final test before each meeting. And even then there will be some tactical sandbagging!

Gaz should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi all,

Will hopefully be attending tomorrow's first official test day at Donington.

Attended the Oulton test session last week and have to say I was very impressed with the pace of the Manor cars they looked extremly quick, Bremer especially. Perhaps it's not going to be the Carlin domination we are all expecting for 2002 although in saying that Mr Courtney wasn't present and as a few have stated above testing times aren't always a true indication of form especially with Oulton being one of the first of the year so many would have just been getting used to their new teams or adapting to the formula.

Will hopefully have a report up on the test on my new website http://www.british-f3.cjb.net/ by tomorrow night along with maybe some pictures. The sites still under construction but the news section is open, hope to have the other sections uploaded in the next couple of weeks. Also check out my main site http://www.britishsingleseaters.cjb.net/ for links to my Formula Ford and Formula Renault sites. The Formula Renault one isn't up yet but should be in the next couple of days.

As for a prediction for tomorrow i'll go for :

1. Bremer
2. Courtney
3. Taylor
4. Antinucci
5. Van Der Merwe

I know Bremmer comes with a big karting rep, but is he really going to top the time sheets in his first one day F3 run at Donington!
1. Taylor
2. Antinucci
3. Courtney - if he shows
4. Keohane

All will be changed in the next couple of weeks Francesca. I was only using that forum originally because I knew nothing about ten-tenths but I'm currently in the process of converting over.

Perhaps I was getting a bit carried away with Bremer being top of the times but I bet you it won't be long before he his. By the way what has happened to JC that he hasn't been around of recent and might not make tomorrows test?

Bremer

i watched bremer last year quite alot, and he has every chance of being quickest today at donington!!

His style of driving will suit a F3 car and manor are a good team they are normally up on the rest for the first couple of months so watch them
