marshalls/ race control
Has anyone else been shocked by the standard of race control in these A1gp races.
So far we have had team members still on the grid trying to start cars as the cars pull off on the formation lap, cars at race pace in estoril with a "road car" trying to toe a car out the way. MArshalls pushing a car across the pit exit as a car left the pitlane. If things carry on like this it is only a matter of time in my opinion before someone gets seriously injured! |

Brands Hatch was well marshalled.
Germany should have seen penalties for those on the grid. Estoril had poor marshalling. The marshalling is a local issue for the country concerned - but I agree the organisers need to be more decisive with the safety car. |

I agree about the safety car. Was not needed at the start of the Estoril main race as the stalled cars were quickly cleared, however at other times it seemed slow to be called out.
Not sure I entirely agree with the marshalling, i.e. where were the blue flags at Brands, and at Estoril they did some things right, such as clearing Canada's car pretty quickly. |
