Yes, none of the frills... I was still in the gathering process thinking I had 30 minutes of pre-race and when the opening gave way to live shots and I could see that the warm up lap was already underway.

I kinda liked the instantaneous side of the way gratification was doled out... but still the timing issues that interrupted the gathering process did result in the jar of cashews never making it out of the cupboard.

But yes, all that action... and cashews during the race? Would have turned my 8 into a 10.

My favorite part of the broadcast was when they edited in an apology to Alonzo for not broadcasting his part of the post-podium interview... AWKWARD!

Speed's was being broadcast on Fox.
