Great effort for the first half of the race for the team. Would have really shook up the standings if Glick could have held on for the win.

Alpine leap frogs both Toyotas in the pits. If Lapierre gets through traffic, they should have the pace to pull away.

Contact between 1 and 9, caused Chatin to spin. I suspect that's a penalty incoming for 9 (?). Also looks that Alpine has quite some pace now, easily keeping Toyotas behind on used tires.

#1 not quite as repaired as hoped. Going slowly around the track as Kubica serves the #9's penalty.

It gets worse with every rewatch. The door blew off the moment the car launched.

He lost it on the inside kerb, at more or less top speed; there was going to be a hard hit with the barriers on the outside of the exit even if gravel/grass was there.

But the Aston would have been the right side up at least.

Amazing stuff from both, but eventually Vaxivierre gets through.

Edit - Not amazing there, #7 and #36 touch and Kobayashi loses a rear tyre.

Both were moving to each other, but I'd place more blame on Kobayashi for moving over too quickly.
