That's their last race this year and they were in a very good position... sad.

Tincknell just said the quiet part out loud, referred to the sausage kerbs as "ramps" without correction.
We'll see what the FIA say after this and Guanyu at Silverstone. |

Great effort for the first half of the race for the team. Would have really shook up the standings if Glick could have held on for the win. sent during haircut |

Both #31 and #22 have been slow for some reason.
Edit - #31 in the garage, #22 surely will join it. |

That was all rather clumsy from ... Iribe was it in #56?
Alpine leap frogs both Toyotas in the pits. If Lapierre gets through traffic, they should have the pace to pull away. |

No tyre change for 36 promotes them to P1.

Contact between 1 and 9, caused Chatin to spin. I suspect that's a penalty incoming for 9 (?). Also looks that Alpine has quite some pace now, easily keeping Toyotas behind on used tires.

#1 not quite as repaired as hoped. Going slowly around the track as Kubica serves the #9's penalty.

Saw video clip on YTube. Violent hit against the curbing for what should have been a harmless spin or gravel trip.

Uncertain. Won't do Fuji for sure and Bahrain is questionable.

it is just going to get harder from here and on to win, specially next year with all this manufactures joining, for Glicken and for everybody else.

Amazing stuff from both, but eventually Vaxivierre gets through.
Edit - Not amazing there, #7 and #36 touch and Kobayashi loses a rear tyre. Both were moving to each other, but I'd place more blame on Kobayashi for moving over too quickly. |
