Frank_White should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I Guess That Trulli Will Now Join Toyota For The Rest Of the Races!

If JV takes over in Renault for the remaining races, that should leave Trulli free to join Toyota early. I am very curious to see how he would do in comparison with Panis. I suspect that he can beat Panis easily and I'm curious to see what he can wring out of the Toyota. Especially in the new race in china where no-one really knows the track.

He's to be announced Thursday according to one site but it is unclear if that includes to drive for the last three races - logically if so he too should be at Silverstone today and/or tomorrow

He was usually quite evenly matched with Panis when they were teammates before.

I do not believe that he would be able to beat Panis easily. Olivier is a very talented driver that has been in F1 for many years. I do not believe he has ever "given up" the way we have witnessed from Trullis last few performances.

It is an interesting comparison as both of them have won one race at Monaco.......

They were about equal at Prost as I recall.

This may well be the case, and it would make sense for everyone for him to be able to establish hismelf at the team early - could be frustrating for Ralf though.

When they were teamed at Prost, Olivier was much more experienced, but had the after-effects of his Canada crash as well. Jarno had a slight overall advantage on pace, although his 2nd at the Nurburgring 1999 skewed the stats s bit.

It'll be a shame for Zonta if he loses the drive, but could be a blessing in disguise for him. If he'd finished the season in the seat, I think the number of races he'd done (6) would take him over the limit of what Friday testers are allowed from the bottom 6 teams (hence why Justin Wilson didnt get the Jaguar reserve role). So there'd be only a reduced role at best in 05. It'll give Trulli a bit of time to bed himself in in a race situation too.

Toyota say Trulli will test tomorrow, but they have "no plans to change the race driver line-up this season".

I think it's a maximum of 6 that cna be done, so Zonta would be okay for the third driver role.

Dont worry Jarno, if it dont work out with Toyota you can always go back to renault, just like Fisi !!. Not only do poor old Flavs arm candy look more like an advert for plastic surgery, but he cant remember who the hell he has employed in the past. God Jensen will be back there soon !!
